I've used the Fuji lab in Phoenix for kodachrome processing with excellent results. haven't used them for a while, but assume they are still doing it.

i'd suggest calling to get the latest info.

I am fairly certain that Fuji Lab quit doing this, and Dwayne's Photo in Kansas has the equipment - and they are now the only company processing new Kodachrome in the US. Dwayne's (or K-19 as their Kodachrome process branch is called - see k14movies.com) normally does good work - and I use them rather than Kodak Switzerland because I want to keep them in business. Extremely quick turn-around too.

Proabably no tmuch of a difference in processing, but a huge one (obviously) on your funds. If you live in San Francisco, you can drop off your Kodachrome S8 at the Cala Foods on Geary and 4th ave. They have service there (courtesy of Fuji from Hayward) that picks up the film everyday, goes through Fuji, and from Hayward they farm it out to Dwayne's Foto in Parsons, KS. This being the place you've heard about. They're the only US lab doing kodachrome. Anyways, the film comes back to Cala (in their little cheap looking drop off/pick up bin) and the grocer charges you.. get ready now.. $3.99 PER ROLL!!

Yes, its true. Many people don't believe it & don't want to risk it, but I've been doing it for years and have had at least a hundred rolls processed that way. In fact I'm picking up four this week. Try it! Mean it. Keep the service alive!
